To continue working in Singapore as a foreign professional, you need to renew your Employment Pass (EP) before it expires. 1. Check your eligibility.
You should have a valid EP that is expiring within six months, and you should continue to meet the EP criteria, such as having a minimum salary of S$5,000 and a recognised qualification or work experience. 2. Submit your renewal application.
Your employer or an authorised employment agent can submit your renewal application online. You should do this at least two months before your EP expires, but not more than six months before. 5. Receive your new EP card.
If your renewal application is approved, you will receive an In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter via email. You will need to print this letter and bring it with you when you collect your new EP card.
