Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP)
An LTVP allows visitors to stay in Singapore for more than 30 days. LTVP may be issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) or Singapore Immigrant and Checkpoints Authority (ICA), depending on the type of LTVP applied for.
Employment Pass and S-Pass holders may sponsor their family members who don’t qualify for Dependant’s Pass to apply for LTVP
i. A common-law partner
ii. Handicapped children above 21 years of age if they are unmarried
iii. Stepchildren under 21 years of age if they are unmarried

In addition, the Singapore Immigrant and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) may also issue LTVP to the following types of visitors to Singapore:

Long Term Visit Pass-Plus (LTVP+)
Foreign partners of Singapore Citizens (SC) or Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR) automatically qualify for Long Term Visit Pass-Plus (LTVP+), which grants them 3 years’ stay in Singapore. Upon renewal, they will be permitted to stay in Singapore for another 5 years. LTVP+ holders are eligible for healthcare and employment benefits.
Pre-approved Letter of Consent (PLOC)
An LTVP/LTVP+ holder may apply for a pre-approved Letter of Consent (PLOC), which is a document issued by MOM that allows its holder to legally work in Singapore. The PLOC remains effective for as long as your LTVP/LTVP+ are valid.
A PLOC has one stark difference from an LOC: it doesn’t require you to secure a job offer first before you apply for it.
